Mangalore: Murder Attempt on Unidentified Youth

Mangalore, Mar 28: An unidentified youth, aged around 23 years, was found lying in an unconscious state in front of Coastal Restaurant, 4th Cross near Nehru Maidan in the city on Sunday March 27. His body was found by a room boy of Darbar Lodge, located on the other side of the road.

The room boy, Jayant, saw a youth lying on his stomach, with critical injuries to his head, right foot, and left knee. He was bleeding and in an unconscious state. After the Bunder police station was informed, the policemen shifted him to Wenlock Hospital. Apparently, murder attempt had been made on the youth.

The youth remains unconscious. The policemen have been trying to establish the identity of the youth, on the basis of a tattoo, ‘VSLS’ found on his right hand, apart from a red tea shirt and blue jeans pants found on his body.
