Kasargod: 125th Diocesan Jubilee Cross Gets a Warm Welcome at Kerala Border

Kasargod, Mar 25: 125th Diocesan Jubilee Cross was brought to Kasaragod deanery from Vijayadka Parish of Mudipu deanery on Thursday 24.

Jubilee crucifix was brought in motorcade procession under the leadership of Fr Peter Aranha, parish priest of Vijayadka Parish. As many as 200 people took part in the procession.

Crucifix was received at Talapady bus stand by Fr Nelson Olivera, parish priest of Talapady. The beauty of procession was enhanced by the flowers, banners and the large number of people who were present.

Prayer service was conducted in Talapady Church. Vicar Forane of Kasaragod deanery Fr Vincent D’Souza was present and delivered the message. All together 500 people devoutly took part in the ceremony. 125th Diocesan Jubilee cross was welcomed with devotion and reverence.
