Mangaluru: PTA General Body Meeting held at Ladyhill Victoria Composite PU College

Mangaluru, Jul 5: “Together we give children the roots to grow and the wings to fly” with this belief Ladyhill Victoria Composite PU College held its PTA General Body Meeting on Friday, June 27,2022.

The meeting began with invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song. Tr Sweety welcomed the gathering with an introduction to the chief guest of the Day Dr Preethi Keerthi D'Souza.

Dr Preethi is an assistant professor in the Department of Post Graduate studies and Research in Commerce, Mangalore University, Karnataka. She emphasized on the parents role in shaping the future of their children. Every child is unique and gifted.

Principal Sr Grace Maizy Miranada A.C. briefed the parents about the rules and regulations of the Institution and gave a call for positive involvement of parents in their child’s upbringing.

Tr Elizabeth N V presented the annual report and Tr Clementina presented the statement of accounts for the year 2021-22. The toppers of Class X and II PUC board exams and the students achievers in the field of NMMS exam, guide & sports were felicitated.

The names of the members of the executive committee for the academic year 2022-23 were read out by Poornima lecturer in Kannada. Joint secretary of Ladyhill Institutions Sr Violet Tauro A C college coordinator Sr Supriya A C, PTA vice president Varalaxmi Rao and former PTA vice president Rajesh Shetty graced the occasion.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Reema Ornello Lecturer in Chemistry. The programme was compered by Wilma Lobo and Rithin D'Almeida.
