Mangaluru, Jun 28: The first parent teacher meet for the academic session 2022-23 of Milagres Central School was held on Tuesday July 28. 

The meet started with a prayer song sung by the students. correspondent of Milagres institutions, Fr Bonaventure Nazreth, campus director, Fr Michael Santhumayor and principal of Milagres Central School, Fr Joseph Uday Fernandes presided over the session.

The chief guest Dr Srinivas Bhat U, professor and HOD, department of Psychiatry KSHEMA, spoke on the topic ‘Parental role on the growth of their children’. He reiterated the fact that parental assistance and friendship will pave a long way to a child successfully adapting to the environment.

The guests were welcomed by Priya Rodrigues. The guidelines on student conduct and discipline, was addressed by the principal Fr Joseph Uday Fernandes.

This was followed by the formation of the committee of parents, two parent representatives from each class volunteered for the same.

The meet concluded with vote of thanks delivered by Mariette. The programme was taken through by Violet Pereira Vas. Refreshments were served to the attendees.
