Mangaluru, Jun 27: St Agnes PU College, Mangaluru conducted ‘Leadership Training’ on June 25, for the newly elected cabinet members, class representatives of I and II PUC and their assistants.
The resource person was Srinivasan Nandagopal, a renowned journalist who worked at Canara Times, Mangalore Today, Asian Age and The Times of India in various capacities. He presently works at a non-profit organization called ‘Centre for Integrated Learning’, where he is a convener.
The students learnt many important lessons like humility, efficiency, teamwork, thinking outside the box and being a good listener. It was a very lively and interactive session and included group activities which emphasized the significance of teamwork.
The session helped the students understand responsibilities and role of a good and efficient leader. ‘Whatever I do, I shall try to do it efficiently’ was the mantra given by Nandagopal as he believes that it will definitely help the students in their journey as leaders.
Sr Janet Sequeira, the vice principal introduced the resource person and welcomed the gathering.
