Udupi, Jun 12: "The alumnus should strive to preserve the schools with a view of providing good education to the students of the locality," said Anand C Kunder, promoter of Geethananda Foundation, Kota.
 
He was speaking at a free book and uniform distribution program held at Shambhavi Vidhyadayini Higher Primary School, Giliyar Kota.
 
"The parents should enlighten the students. An alumnus of the school should work towards saving the school," he said. He also assured to extend his help to start an English medium school and talk to the government for the same. Anand C Kunder also promised to pay the salary to a guest teacher of the school. 
 


























































 
P Narasimha Aithal, retired teacher distributed the teaching appliances, Malini Sreedhar Maiyya school bags, Anand C Kunder notesbooks, Sachin Karanth, school management committee member English teaching books, and Ravindra Aithal, progressive farmer uniforms to the students. 
 
Rajaram Aithal, president of school management committee sponsors, Malini Sreedhar Maiya and Janaki Manjunath Maiya Ravindra Jogi, president of school development committee school teachers and students were present on the occasion.
 
Divaker Kunder, headmaster compered the program. Yashoda proposed a vote of thanks.
