Mangaluru, Jun 11: St Agnes CBSE school organised a two-day session on May 25 and 24 based on the topic 'Public Speaking'. The main aim of this session was providing the parents information about the public speaking course which will be introduced in the school from the academic year 2022-23 for grade I to X.

In today’s competitive world it is quite challenging to develop the confidence, develop interpersonal and communicative skills, and also how to be productive and actively participate in necessary activities besides not only excelling in academics is the main area where most children fail to achieve the desired goal. These life skills which is the need of the hour was well explained by Prasad Adappa the speaker of the session and the founder of Accolades Academy.

The academy came into being in the year 2013 with the sole purpose of preparing the students to face the real world through various skills and potentiality and enhanced English Language competency, articulation and leadership skills.

The school in collaboration with Accolades academy, this year has planned this course. The academy faculties willconduct sessions to the students of grade I to X.
Through this session the parents were briefed about the course and through questions and queries the speaker gave an informative insight of the course.
The management congratulates the school for this initiative on beginning a new course and wishes good luck to all.
