Mangaluru, Jun 9: The first day of school is a mixture of anxiety and excitement not only for a child but also the parents accompanying their wards to the school.

The day marks the beginning of the most important phase of a child’s life. It was celebration time in Carmel School as the tiny tots of LKG came to school for the first time on June 6.

The school wore a colourful and cheerful look with the UKG students lined up to greet their friends with colourful umbrellas too.

The tiny tots along with their parents received a warm and floral welcome and gifts from Sister Sarika - The principal and sister Violette, the administrator and the students of UKG.

Photo Booth at the event provided the children and parents with the golden opportunity to create lasting memories. The classrooms were also eyecatching with creative bulletin boards and colourful balloons in order to cheer up the tinytots and create a pleasant and cordial atmosphere for them.

It was indeed a memorable day and it created the beginning of a positive relationship among the children of LKG and UKG.
