Mangaluru, Jun 6: 'Love what you teach, and they will love it too' - to incorporate passion into the teaching and to reflect on the moments that led to career as an educator, to be confident and make a profound mark and stimulate progressive improvement, Carmel Faculty assembled in the School Auditorium on May 30.

The programme commenced with a meaningful prayer service. The resource persons were Anna D’Souza, founder and president of Vimochane Trust, Mangalore, Vijayasmita D'Souza, director of Vimochane Trust, Ashok Harishchandra Parab, founder of Mind App Consultancy, Goa.

Anna D'Souza took over the session leading the participants into meditation exploring one’s own inner world. Ashok Parab spoke at length about self exploration - definition, content, purpose and techniques and elucidated it with factual examples. He further said, “Supreme power in the Universe is within each one of us i.e. Man - God = zero, Man + God = Hero."

He armored each participant with a weapon to balance life, that is ‘Wheel of Life’ and the difference between thought and thinking seemed so simple yet very important in order to drive away any kind of worries. Special emphasis was laid on setting of target beyond one’s potential which could be a setback when it comes to performance.

The teachers were called to accept their critics positively. He then emphasized on three learning styles. By the end of the program the teachers were found to be Self Motivators.

The programme was compered by Lara Mathias and Shwetha. Anna Frank welcomed the gathering and Shaylet and Anusha proposed vote of thanks.
