Mangaluru: St Aloysius College holds national level undergraduate fest 'QUERENCIA-2022'

Mangaluru, Jun 2: The Department of postgraduate studies and research in commerce, St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, organized a national level undergraduate fest 'QUERENCIA-2022' on June 2, 2022 in Eric Mathias Hall of the College.

Cine actor, Aravind Bolar was the chief guest for the programme. Fr Melwin J Pinto, rector of St Aloysius Institutions, presided over the programme.

Dr Loveena Lobo, director of Maffei Block, Dr P Sajimon, Dean of PG Studies, Fr Vincent Pinto, SJ, Finance Office, Jenifer Maria Quadros, HoD of PG Commerce, Niveditha, Programme Coordinator and the students Coordinators were on the dais.

Aravind Bolar inaugurated programme and unveiled the trophies of the fest. He said that claps and whistles of the audience are the inspiration to the artists. We cannot come forward unless we showcase our talents. He urged the students to respect their mother tongue first, then to respect other languages.

He encouraged the students to respect and take care of their parents throughout their life. Aravind Bolar was honoured during the programme.

Around 25 undergraduate colleges participated in this fest.

Jenifer Maria Quadros welcomed the gathering and briefed about the fest. Vishwas introduced the chief guest. Jomon and Arlene compered the programme. Hancia Saldanha proposed the vote of thanks.
