Mangaluru: St Aloysius College to organize social event ‘Bleed Safe' on May 28

Mangaluru, May 27: The students of MA Journalism and Mass Communication (MAJMC), St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, in association with the Non-Government Organization Sahas will be organising a social event. ‘Bleed Safe', a menstrual cup awarerness session to be conducted by Divya Gokarna, founder of Comfycup. The session will be held on May 28 at 11 am in Joseph Willy Hall, St Aloysius College, Mangaluru.

Bleed Safe, an awareness event is organized for the post graduate students of SAC. The main aim behind the event is to create awareness among all the students on menstrual cup and promote the use of menstrual cup as part of waste reduction. The session includes the demonstration of using of menstrual cup. As many as of hundred students are expected to join the session. Following the session free menstrual cups will be given to selected students.

MA Journalism and Mass Communication (MAJMC) is a Post Graduate programme offered at St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru. With specialization in Television and Radio Production, Digital Media Marketing, Online Broadcasting and Content writing.

Sahas is a Non- profit organization working in the field of waste management. They have helped build communities across rural and urban India to manage waste at source by reducing, reusing and recycling.
