Karkala: Sri Kundeshwara temple, Hirgana Holds Festivities

Karkala, Jan 28:  Brahmakalashabhisheka, Rudra yaga, dwaja prathishte and inauguration of Vasantha mantap was held at Sri Kundeshwara temple of Hirgana here recently.

The festivities took place under the able guidance of Rama Moorthy Tantri of Yedapadv and Krishna Rajendra Bhat. Karkala MLA Gopal Bhandary inaugurated the regional and cultural programmes and said that such programmes play a vital role in society.

Hirgana gram panchayat president Ratnavathi N Nayak presided. Laxmipura Mahalaxmi temple priest Ramanada Bhat, astrologer Arum Bhat Ennehole spoke on the occasion.

Gulabi Shetty, mother of Sujatha Shetty who contributed to the setting up of Vasantha Mantap was felicitated on the occasion.

Temple trustee Jithendra Kundeshwar welcomed the gathering. JC national trainer Rajendra Bhat compered the programme. Welcoming committee secretary Upendra Nayak proposed the vote of thanks.

    Its been Great pleasure to see that now hirgana getting recognition,again its adding to our celebtn see it to dat its bcos of "Kundeshwara Temple".i wud expect some more & more programs at Kundeshwara.Its fact That Kundeshwara stands different from other temple wen it's comes in popularity.
