Udupi: Vasant Salian Inaugurates Vishwasadamane Tailoring Training Center

Udupi, Jan 27: “Both union and state governments provide essential aid to develop infrastructural facilities at various orphanages that are run by private individuals across the coastal district,” said former state minister Vasant V Salian.

He was the chief guest speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a new tailoring training center by Vishwasadamane, home for mentally challenged and destitute, at Shankarapura, near here, on Thursday January 27.



Pastor Joseph Jamakandi of Bethel Church, after inaugurating the tailoring training center, appreciated the efforts of Vishwasadamane in starting the tailoring training center to explore self-employment avenues for its inmates.

Innanje gram panchayat president Vasanti Acharya presided over the programme.

Corporation Bank manager K Gokuldas Pai, Innanje gram panchayat former president Laxman Shetty, Sr Elizabeth D’Souza, Mustaq, Gracy, and Vishwasadamane chief pastor Sunil D’Souza was present on the dais.

Ronald Machado welcomed the gathering. Mathew Castelino delivered the introductory address and Prashant Maben compered the programme.
