Mangalore University Konkani Adhyayana Peeta set to organize 'BhashaSangam 2022'

Mangaluru, Mar 8: Mangalore University Konkani Adhyayana Peeta in collaboration with the department of Languages Milagres College Mangaluru is set to organize 'BhashaSangam 2022', a day's Multilingual National Conference on the theme 'Status of Languages in India under NEP' scheduled to be held in the College Auditorium, on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 9:30 AM.

Bhasha Sangam 2022 will be inaugurated by the chief guest Dr P L Dharma, registrar (Evaluation), Mangalore University. The keynote address will be delivered by professor Purushothama Bilimale, Retd professor, JNU, New Delhi. Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, correspondent, Milagres Educational Institutions, will make his presidential presence.

Technical Session in English, Hindi, Kannada and Konkani Languages will be held. Dr Charles V Furtado, Dr Suma T Rodannavara, Professor Purushothama Bilimale, Dr Chandralekha De Souza and Dr Jayavantha Nayakare the eminent resource persons and moderators who will deliberate on the topic of the Technical Sessions.

The valedictory ceremony of Bhasha Sangam will be held at 4:00 PM.

The academicians, research scholars and the students of various Universities of state and outstation are expected to present their research Ppaper and participate as delegates in the conference. In a press note the college principal Fr Michael Santhumayor has mentioned that the delegates of this conference will be provided with OOD facility.
