Mangaluru, Mar 6: A felicitation was held for the toppers of the school and college and also an orientation programme by the Prestige International School and College .

With a motto that not just imparting education but trying to create excellence in every walk of life, the the felicitation programme of school and college toppers and a parents orientation programme was held in the school auditorium.

Renowned personality Padma Shri awardee Harekala Hajabba was the chief guest on this occasion, who was honoured by the school management for his outstanding contribution in the field of education. Vice chancellor of Mangalore University Professor P Subramanya Yadapadithaya and Fr Francis Xavier Gomes, former director and principal of Milagres College, Mangalore, were the guests of honour on this occasion. Another guest of honour padmabhushan and padma vibhushan recipient Dr B M Hegde, though could not make his presence on this occasion sent his message congratulating the students and institution on this occasion. Assistant professor of Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, Dr Haseeb Aman was the special guest on this occasion.

The principal of prestige International School Feroza Fayaz briefed about the schedule for the next academic year, and the special feature about Prestige international school and college.  PU college principal Sindhu Sedhu also spoke highlighting the salient features of Prestige P U College. The managing director of Shaheen’s Falcon Institute Abdul Subhan was present on this occasion to orient the parents on the importance of competitive exams and how to prepare the students for it.

On this occasion, the team of Motivitalz Organisation in collaboration with the students of the Prestige International School conducted a programme on controlling our emotions and becoming  strong human beings. A tool called Emoventor to vent out the emotions, which is invented by the students of Prestige International School in collaboration with Motivitalz was also inaugurated on the occasion.

Director of MOTIVITALZ Nasreen Binth Ahmed Bawa was present on this occasion. The students of Prestige International School staged a beautiful dance and song performance with a heart touching theme to entertain the audience.

The students of the academic year 2019-2020 and 2020-2021, grade 10 and 12 CBSE and pre-university toppers of the school and college and all those who have secured above 90% were felicitated on the occasion, with cash prize and trophies. 

Chairman of the Institution Hyder Ali K, managing director Reshma Hyder, trustees Syed Faisal, Rahil Hyder, Nawaz Ali, Aisha Hina, administrative manager Reshma Shetty, career guidance counsellor Shameer Ahmed, PRO Deepthi graced the occasion.

Raniya Anees and Sayed Mohammed of grade 8 and 7 were the masters of the ceremony. Fathima Reem of grade 8 delivered the welcome speech and Safiyath Muskan proposed a vote of thanks.
