Belthangady: Workshop on 'Life Skills' held at Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar

Belthangady, Mar 6: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar had organized a workshop on Life Skills, sponsored by Agricultural Co-operative Society, Madanthyar recently.

The programme began with seeking the blessings and the presence of God Almighty. The co-ordinator of the IQAC, Prof John Baptist D'Souza welcomed the guests. Dr Joseph N M, principal, Sacred Heart College Madanthyar, was the president of the programme. Santhappa, district youth trainer, Yuva Spandana Mangalore, was invited as the chief guest who inaugurated the function with the other dignitaries by lighting the lamp and addressing the gathering.

The programme was followed by sessions on self awareness and inter personal relations by Santhappa . The second session was conducted by Deekshitha V, assistant professor, GFGC, Punjalkatte on communication skills, creative and critical thinking.

Third session was conducted by Emerson Crasta, lecturer, Sacred Heart College Madanthyar, on decision making, problem solving and coping with emotions.

The programme was compered by Shahid Afrid and Mariya Joseph of ll BA. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mokshith of ll BA, Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar.
