Beltangady: Three-day Legal Literacy Drive Flagged Off

The purpose and importance of law should be made explained to the people in order to create awareness on law in the society, said chief civil justice Sunil S Hosamani.
 
He was speaking after inaugurating the three-day mobile people's court campaign and legal literacy chariot flagged off in the court premises here on Monday January 10.

Tahsildar M K Pramila speaking on the occasion said that two components like framing of any law and creating awareness should go hand in hand for the better society.
 
Bar association president Ramachandra Gowda presided over the programme. Town municipal president Muguli Narayan Rao, taluk panchayat CEO Narendra and physical director K B Keshava among others were present.
 
Bar association secretary Shivakumar welcomed the gathering. Vice-president Shashikiran Jain delivered the vote of thanks.
