Mangaluru: Faculty Development Program on ‘Microcontrollers & Peripherals’ held at NMAM

Mangaluru, Feb 17: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte in association with DLithe Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru conducted a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on ‘Microcontrollers and Peripherals’ from February 15 to 19.
Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar, principal, NMAM Institute of Technology, inaugurated the event and released the ‘Microcontroller Trainer Kits’ designed and developed by Dlithe Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd. Sridhar Murthy, Arunraj Purohith and Vijay from DLithe Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. were present during the launch ceremony.

Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar in his address, stressed the importance of FDPs in the current period of technological advancements. He also congratulated DLithe for their efforts in designing and developing the trainer kit which is very much helpful for the students.
Dr I Ramesh Mithyanthaya, vice principal and Academics dean wished and lauded the initiative of the Department of Computer Science in organising this FDP. Dr Srinivas Rao B R, vice principal and controller of examination wished the FDP every success.

Dlithe is a technology company focusing on IoT, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and the latest trends, helping academics and IT companies, build an agile workforce with a product development mindset. The main objective of the latently designed and developed ‘Microcontroller Trainer Kit is to adopt the advancements with MCUs (Microcontroller units) in recent market trends along with focus on research and development opportunities that lead to core embedded skills development.

Sridhar Murthy and Arun Raj Purohith handed over 15 Microcontroller Trainer Kits (ARM Cortex M3 based Microcontroller) worth Rs 1 lac to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte.
Dr Jyothi Shetty, HoD, Computer Science and Engineering, and the Convener of the FDP welcomed the gathering. Dr Roshan Fernandes, associate professor and coordinator of the FDP proposed a vote of thanks and also compered the programme.
