Mangaluru: St Agnes School organises career guidance programme

Mangaluru, Feb 11: The holistic development in a school not just with books and examination but to achieve the important goal of strengthening the students to enter the world to explore.

St Agnes School year after year has given the best results in this competitive world and moulded the students to make their right choice. Career guidance is one such path for the students to make the best choice in life.

A career guidance session was held in St Agnes CBSE school. The speaker and mentor of the programme was Dr Ananth Prabhu G, professor in the department of computer science and engineering at Sahyadri Group of Educational Institutions.

The students of grade X along with the parents attended the session. This programme began with a prayer followed by welcome done by Prival D’Souza.

The speaker gave a vast knowledge on the aspect of choosing the right career. The key points discussed SWOT analysis that is struggle, weakness, opportunities and threats in yourself. The important aspect highlighted was think about oneself and decide what you want.

Some knowledge on functioning of brain and the VARK learning style was discussed. the number of competitive exams to explore. The various streams of courses available along with digital studies was discussed. Some learning strategies and tips for good study was also highlighted.

The Management, congratulates the school for conducting this session and wishes the best for the students for their future career.
