Mangalore, Dec 25:
BJP which came with theory of ‘different administration’ seem to be losing its reputation in the state. Karnataka which once was a model state now is not even at par with Bihar politics, said AICC general secretary B K Hariprasad at a press conference held at district Congress office on Saturday December 25.

Addressing media persons he said that beginning from Padmapriya case, the state BJP government has come to be known for its unsavoury issues. It has neither proposed any pro-people benefit projects nor done anything for common people, he said. Coming down on BJP national president Nithin Gadkari, B K Hariprasad said Yeddyurappa is backed by him on his alleged land deals favouring his family.

Pointing that Hindu Samajotsava is being held during the time of elections, he said BJP has made the religion a matter of politics. Senior leader Jaswant Singh who was expelled by BJP on coming out had said that the party lacked clarity on what Hindutva meant and stood for. This shows to what extent BJP is in favour of Hindus. He also called VHP leader Praveen Bhai Togadia as Osama Bin Laden of India.

Defending on the stand of Congress in all move, he said people of Dakshina Kannada and Karnataka at large are well aware of who is who, hence they would vote for the right candidates.

Respect Faux Pas - Nehru Unintentional Target

It is all fine to hang a ‘no smoking board’ to create awareness on dangerous of smoking. But Congress leaders seem to have not observed that it is hung just above the portrait of Prime Minister late Jawaharlal Nehru at the district office.

Though unintentional, it is a disrespect to the leader of the stature of Nehru.
