Panaji, Feb 4: Door to door campaigning will be done on Friday, February 4 by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at Mormugao taluk. He will also participate in the meeting with candidates of the party and guide them.
There are Congress candidates in 37 constituencies while it has made alliance with GFP in three constitutencies.
The Congress leader is scheduled to meet anganwadi staff and representatives of CII and shack owners and tourism operators. A rally will be held in Sakhali constituency held by CM Pramod Sawant.
Rahul had earlier visited Goa in October 2021 in which he had a public meeting in Dona Paula and met representatives of the mining sector and fishermen community.
Gandhi was originally scheduled to campaign in the state on February 2 but he could not arrive on that date due to parliament session. He will also meet senior leaders of the state before going back to Delhi.
