Abu Dhabi, Oct 17: After a successful spellbound event last year, KCO is all set to present its fabulous ‘Fiesta 2024’ KCO’s top entertainment extravaganza on November 16, in Abu Dhabi.
The spectacular family event will comprise of high-quality entertainment, music, dance, prizes to be won and a grand buffet dinner. The stage of Abu Dhabi Country Club is set for the splendid performance and show. Renowned singers and musicians from Mangaluru and Goa, will be present to rock the show.
The re-elected president of KCO Vivek Serrao and the organizers have invited all to be a part of KCO's annual show and have promised to provide delightful entertainment all evening. As the event is known to run full house every year, all are requested to book their seats in advance. The show is promised to keep the audience entertained all through the evening.
Following a successful event last year, from the sensational singer Nihal Tauro’s performance, KCO Trust continues to upscale their event, the stage is all set for the famous and power-packed Goa-based ensemble band A26. After previously performing across Europe, Oman, African Continents, Canada and UAE, A26, a versatile 7-piece cover band, has garnered a devoted fan following base all around the world.
Artistes are being flown in from India for the event to ensure the crowd dances the night away to the infectious beats of the live music and dance performances, featuring the electrifying rhythms that will ignite the soul and ensure the fiesta is a remarkable event. There will be a mixture of Konkani, Hindi, and English songs performed by leading singers and musicians from Mangaluru.
A brief on the artistes:
Komal D’souza, hailing from Manipal, Mangaluru and a PhD student, has compered for several events in Mangaluru and also anchored on television part time.
The Shoe Hostess, Komal Jenifer Dsouza has been an anchor and host for over 12 years. From weddings to birthday parties and corporate events to TV shows, she has traveled the world and has over 2000 events to her credit.
Known to wear catchy sneakers, she is multilingual and has her way with captivating the crowd.
Hailing from Udupi’s picturesque village of Kallianpur, she is an educator, vlogger and anchor.
A26 Goa-based ensemble Band
A26 has become a musically empowered act since a few years. They have played internationally all over the world including, London, Denmark, Africa, Dubai, Poland, Abu Dhabi and Muscat and have been successful in having the crowd mesmerized with their performance.
Lester Rodrigues, the founder, manager and lead vocalist of A26 was also the founder member and lead vocalist of one of Goa's best bands Forefront. They have played for +120 events year on year and have earned a reputation for exceptional musicianship.
Anitha D’Souza
Anita D’Souza, a native of Bela of Kasargod deanery is in the field of music since her childhood and has secured various awards and honors already to her name. Anitha is known as a versatile singer who has rendered her voice in Konkani, Tulu, Kannada, Beary, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi and participated in over 2,000 musical Nites all over India and Gulf countries like UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Doha, Oman. She won the Mandd Sobhann Global Konkani Music Award 2012 for the Best Female Singer. She has also been honored with the title of 'Gadinada Gana Kogile'. Anita is the only female singer from Konkani community who can sing in 13 languages on an open stage. Anitha has been part of KCO Fiesta for many years and back in the show on public demand from her UAE fans.
Naveed Magundi
Naveed Magundi is financial expert and working as the CEO of a group in Dubai, he is passionate about Singing and a multilingual singer hailing from Magundi Chikkamagaluru Karnataka. A content creator, performer, sings in Hindi, Kannada, Tulu, Beary and Konkani languages. Has participated and won many singing competitions also been part of popular reality shows on TV like Mozo Tallo Gaithalo and reached to the top levels of the competition.
Patson Periera
Patson is an Indian music composer, music director and sound engineer for various Kannada, Tulu and Knonkani moves and albums. He has composed songs for the Konkani movie ‘Bindas’ in 2015, and the Tulu-Konkani drama ‘Ashem Zalem Kashem’ in 2017.
Sabita Mathias
A qualified Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in E&C engineering, Sabita is currently working as a manager at Aviation Services Management Dubai. Born in Shirva and currently she is working in Dubai from the last 15 years. Under the guidance of vocal trainer, Joseph Moras (Melodia Voice Studio), Sabita completed her Grade 2 Trinity Vocal exam, and she is the winner of the prestigious Gulf Voice of Mangalore (GVOM6) in 2018. Apart from singing she is a talented sportsperson and has represented Udupi district in junior athletics and junior national volleyball and captained the VTU ladies Volleyball team in the south zone inter-university tournament. Sabita is also a recipient of Best Cadet award of the NCC-Karnataka & Goa contingent, part of the Mangalurean community women’s volleyball team in Dubai.
Melwyn D’Souza
Melwyn has pursued his degree in Carnatic music, art & culture. He is an amazing lead vocalist/composer/lyricist and with his extreme high notes, he is well known to sweep the audience off their seats and bring them to the dance floor. Melwyn has a talent to write lyrics and has got nominated for the best lyricist for Konkani Global Awards 2012, and is the official lyricist of his production house named ‘PMV PRODUCTIONS’. He has performed live internationally including India, Kuwait and Oman, and has won over loyal fans in every country. Melwyn has sung in several popular songs like ‘Chanda Suraj’, Sparsh Tuza, Dance 2 Dance etc.
The event also will host a ‘Jive Competition’ with attractive prizes, raffle draw and a sumptuous buffet dinner. It will provide an opportunity for people to be a part of KCO’s endeavors while providing an occasion to spend quality time with family and friends in a relaxed atmosphere far from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
