Mangalore, Dec 22: As a part of Ayodhya Sri Ramajanmabhoomi campaign, Hanuman Shakti Jagarana Samithi, city unit will hold Sri Hanuman Shakti Jagarana Yajna and Bruhath Hindu Samajotsava at Kendra Maidan on Sunday January 2, informed Sri Ravi Shankar Mijar, president of the Samithi at a press meet here on Wednesday December 22.
‘Poornahuthi’ of Hanuman Shakti Jagaran Yajna will occur on the day in the presence of religious leaders, saints and swamijis.
Dr Praveen Bhai Togadiya, international chief secretary of VHP, will deliver the key note address at 4pm. Famous social worker Dayananda Pai, Bangalore will preside over the programme. Organizers say that more than 50,000 people have taken part in Sri Hanuman Chalis recitation held across the country.
Sri Hanuman Shakti Jagarana Yajna and Hindu Samajotsava have been organized in more than 300 places like Ullal, Moodubidri, Bantwal, Puttur, Sullia, Belthangady. This will be the valedictory ceremony in Mangalore wherein more than 1 lac people are expected to participate. Massive numbers of public relation meetings have been held and preparations are on full swing.
The Samithi is distributing stickers of Hindu Samajotsava and thereby collecting Rs 10 each from people. Leaders M B Puranik, Jagadeesh Shenava, Jithendra Kottary, Manohar Tulajaram among others were present.
