Mangaluru: MDP held at Srinivas University College of Management, Commerce for Industry Personnel

Mangaluru, Feb 1: Srinivas University College of Management and Commerce CMC organized a one-day MDP (Management Development Program) for middle level managers of MSME and large corporate entities of Mangalore on January 29 at Pandeshwara Campus. The day long MDP on 'Strategic Leadership' was held under the patronage of the chancellor, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao and pro- chancellor, Dr A Srinivas Rao. The programme was inaugurated by the vice-chancellor, professor (Dr) P S Aithal by lighting the lamp. Dean, CMC professor Keerthan Raj, faculty members and placement officer professor Varun Shenoy coordinated the event and professor Venkatesh Amin, director, MDP, CMC delivered the sessions.

Participants for the MDP included industry employees from prestigious Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry KCCI Mangaluru, New Mangalore Port Trust NMPT, Karnataka Bank Limited Head Office, Automark Automobiles and JV Springs Baikampady Industrial Estate.

The training sessions included ice-breakers, case studies, simulation games, role plays, presentations, group discussions, and team work engagements among the participants to boost confidence and determination.

This is the first in a series of MDP's planned for the year 2022-23 by Srinivas University College of Management & Commerce which runs various professional UG, PG and Doctorial Research programmes like PhD and beyond.
