Christites bag National Book Trust’s PM Yuva Mentorship Awards

Bengaluru, Jan 23: Two students of the Bengaluru-based Christ (Deemed to be University) Aleena Anabelly A (BBA, LLB) and Nishtha Chhabra (MSc- Mathematics) have been selected for the All-India Contest under Prime Minister Yuva Mentorship scheme.

The All-India contest is organised by the National Book Trust as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav programmes.

The contest, based on the theme ‘National Movement of India’ is to select 75 young authors under the age of 30.

The selected students will be mentored and provided research and editorial support by renowned authors and editors of National Book Trust.

During the mentorship programme, the authors will receive a scholarship of Rs 50,000 per month for a period of six months and a royalty of 10 percent on the successful publication of their works.

The published books of the students selected for the PM Yuva Mentorship scheme by the National Book Trust will be translated into other Indian languages.
