Mangaluru: Ladyhill English Higher Primary School celebrates 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'

Mangaluru, Jan 14: The students were interested to learn about Uttarakhand state as part of the above-mentioned programme, which was launched by the Prime Minister and directed by the directorate of Education to try to unite the country by exposing students from different states to the cultures of other states.

After gaining a thorough knowledge on Uttharakhand state, various competitions were held for students from Class 1 to 7, in which they showcased and displayed Uttarakhand's rich heritage and culture, customs and traditions, and so on through folkdances, collage on culture and heritage, elocution on famous personalities , wildlife, information on tourist places, and dressing style.

Overall, the students had an interesting and exciting time, sharing and learning about Uttarakhand. It broadened their learning horizons and assisted all of us in maintaining and honouring our country.
