Udupi, Jan 7: Students of Sharada Residential School Kunjibettu Udupi have excelled in national level competitions organized by Mayo College Girl's School, Ajmer.
On the occasion of Silver Jubilee year of Mayo College Girl's School, Ajmer the institution had conducted various national level competitions in virtual mode from August 23-27, 2021.
Students from Sharada Residential School had participated in various competitions. Trisha Gautham Pai of class 10 was adjudged as the Best Speaker in turncoat. Neha Udapudi was recognized as the Best Speaker in extempore segment.
Web designing, creative writing, general quiz, dialogue writing, Hindi debate and Multi format English debate competitions were held.
The winners are awarded with gifts and certificates. Participant students were awarded with certificates of recognition.
Trisha Gautham Pai is the daughter of T Gautham pai, executive chairman Manipal Technologies and Vanita Pai. Neha Udapudi is daughter of Dr Karabasappa Udapudi and Dr Savita Udapudi of Mudol.
Sharing their experience about participating in the competition students said ,"It was a great experience participating in the competition. The teachers and the management has given their full support for us to prepare for the contest. All the competitions were held virtually. It was a good experience. Students from more than 40 schools of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta had participated in the competitions. Debate competition was held in 3 phases. The experience has helped us to participate in more such competitions. It is a proud moment for our school and also for ourselves" Trisha and Neha say with delight.
Sharing their joy for outstanding performance of the students Vidyavanta Achara U, Director Sharada Residential School said "Sharada Residential School has provided wide opportunities for students talents. We nurture the talents of students. Trisha Gautham Pai has been selected as Best speaker in turncoat and Neha Udapudi in extempore, both the students have a excellent language proficiency. As our school has membership of Indian Public School Conference (IPSC) students get opportunity to participate in these type of national level contest".
