Mangaluru: St Aloysius to hold International Hindi Webinar

Mangaluru, Jan 6: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell, department of Hindi and Hindi Sangh at St Aloysius College (Autonomous), in collaboration with Central Institute of Hindi, Hyderabad Centre and Town Official Language Implementation Committees (TOLIC), Mangaluru, is organizing one-day International Webinar on 'Hindi Language and Literature in the Non-Hindi Province: In a Global Perspective' on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 9:30 am in Sanidhya Hall of the College. The webinar will be organised through Zoom platform.

John A Abraham, senior manager (OL), Union Bank of India, member secretary, TOLIC, Mangaluru will be the guest of honour. Dr Praveen Martis, SJ, principal will preside over the programme. Dr Mukund Prabhu, HOD, department of Hindi will deliver the introductory remarks.

There will be two technical sessions which will be chaired by Dr Gangadhar Wanode, regional director, Central Institute of Hindi, Hyderabad Centre, Ministry of Education, government of India.

1. Session-I from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Dr Sunitha Manjanbail, department of Hindi, Central University of Karnataka, Kadaganchi, Kalaburagi, Karnataka, will be resource person.
2. Session-II from 11.00 to 11:30 AM. Dr Alka Dunputh, senior faculty, School of Indian Studies, Mahatma Gandhi Institute, Mauritius will be the resource person.

No Registration Fee for the webinar. E -certificate will be given to all the participants. Interested can participate in the webinar using the following link.
