Udupi, Nov 28 (IANS): A memorandum of understanding was entered between Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and the Dedalus - DH Healthcare Software Services (India) Pvt. Limited, UK.
Dedalus based in Europe is one of the largest global companies in the domain of healthcare system solutions. MAHE, an Institution of Eminence, is deemed to be a university is engaged in imparting world-class education and research in various disciplines.
This partnership aims to develop cooperation for academic & training enhancement, placement support and joint activities in the areas of Health Informatics, Digital Health and Healthcare IT. The joint collaboration with Dedalus offers global opportunities for MAHE students to carry out hands-on externship training in the industry sector.
The academic liaison officer at MAHE is Dr Sabu KM, Associate Dean, Manipal College of Health Professions. For Dedalus, Romilla Kulshrestha (Director, Dedalus Group, India) and for MAHE, Dr Raghu Radhakrishnan (Director, International Collaborations, MAHE) and Dr G Arun Maiya (Dean, Manipal College of Health Professions, MAHE) signed the agreement.
