Mangaluru, Jan 15: St Sebastian Church, Permannur, celebrated Confraternity Sunday with great devotion and fervor. The day began with a thanksgiving adoration at Adam Kudru Chapel, followed by a solemn Eucharistic procession to the church.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by bishop emeritus Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza, joined by parish priest Fr Cyprian Pinto and assistant parish priest Fr Johnson Peraira. The event witnessed the participation of nearly 2,500 faithful.
Parish council secretary Jyothi D'Souza announced the names of families who received the honor of blessed candles. Arun D'Souza, vice president of the parish council, delivered the vote of thanks.
A delicious meal was served to all attendees, making the occasion one of spiritual enrichment and community bonding.
