Mangaluru, Nov 12: Shree Devi Institute of Technology, department of Business Administration organised a one-day PGCET training for undergraduate students on November 8, 2021. More than 60 MBA aspirants from various UG colleges participated in this maiden programme.
Participants had a hands-on training on the subject viz, English, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis which are part of the PGCET syllabus. The subjects were facilitated by faculties of the department of Business Administration and freelance trainers. The training programme was concluded with a mock test and the top scorer was awarded.
Professor Rajashekhar Hebbar C, principal, GFGC Car Street, Mangaluru was the chief guest for the programme. In his inaugural address, he stressed on the qualities of a good teacher and the impact of Covid-19 on the education system. He also encouraged students to encash the learning from the training programme to the fullest so that they can fulfil their parents’ dreams. He wished them luck and also appreciated the efforts of the department in organising the programme. The Presidential address was given away by Dr K E Prakash, director and principal, Shree Devi Institute of Technology.
He thanked the generous presence of the chief guest and reiterated the remarks made by him. Vote of thanks was presented by Dr Gayathri B J, HOD, department of Business Administration, SDIT. The coordinator of the programme was professor Gayathri Shetty, department of Business Administration. The MC for the programme was Amrutha K V, second year student, department of Business Administration.
