Mangaluru: Srinivas University BBA students visit Kannur International Airport

Mangaluru, Nov 3: Srinivas University- College of Aviation Studies organized an Airport Visit for the BBA (Aviation Management) students to Kannur International Airport Limited (KIAL) on November 2, 2021. A team of 40 students and three faculties visited Kannur International Airport, which helped them to understand the current scenarios in airport, and also knowing about the airport system, Fire and Safety working process of airport etc.

Two briefing sessions were scheduled to the students in Security, Terminal Operations, Airside Operations and ARFF. The airport officials guided the students towards terminal points, runway and fire and safety department procedures and work. Since the academic curriculum focuses on engaging students in practical experiences to observe in implementation of what they are taught in the college, this visit was an informative, interesting, successful and fruitful one.

The airport visit was planned and organized by professor Pavithra Kumari, dean College of Aviation Studies. Professor Jayaprakasha, Anjana T V and Roshin K Sibi – faculties of Aviation department accompanied the students.
