Udupi, Nov 6: K Sadashiva Rao, head of the department of commerce and management at Poornaprajna College (PPC) has taken charge as the new principal of the prestigious institution.
Rao has authored a few books on income tax for the students of BCom and BBM courses under Mangalore University. He has served the Association of Mangalore University College teachers(AMUCT) as its general secretary for two terms. Further, he has also worked as the head of the University's Board of Examiners for Commerce and Business Management.
A native of Kollamogaru near Subrahmanya of Sullia taluk, Rao had his primary and high school education in a local school and dis his pre-university education at PPC Udupi with MCom from Mysore University in 1976. He joined PPC in July 1976.
