Kasargod, Oct 28: It is learnt that Praveen Kumar, son of Ramanna Poojary from Badoor Chakatejal in Puthige gram panchayat, had left home in a car accompanied by a group of persons on the night of October 22. It is said that he has not returned to his home so far.

Praveen was working in a petrol bunk run by people belonging to a different faith at Nellikatte. He is from a middle class family. The mother of the youth said that she suspects that her son was lured into changing his religion. "I learn that he was lured into religious conversion by offering luxury items like car, scooter and other valuables. In a room of his house, an air-conditioner has been provided and the facility to offer namaz has been provided. Quran and high value perfumes were found in his room," Prema said.

Prema has requested the police to find out the whereabouts of her son. She also said that those who took her son away have been posing threats to her.

    What nonsense some are talking here?Because he is having luxury articles like Perfume and AC car motor bike etc ,in his room ,immediately jump to conversion?Nothing else comes to the brain?What if he is involved in drugs selling ,or he bought these things self from his own money from side business?Let it clear first ,then make wrong on him.Why one should convert him ?Not old enough to understand what is water and what is Piss?If is sohe will bear the consequences.Mother should now need not worry.And she cant do anything too.May be he didnt pay money for these things still,so people must have taken him to give him some brain wash?He will come back and may explain later.Pray God he may come back safe.

    I am sure that this is only a drama fabricated by anti national sanghi fundamentalists. Why the parents did not object since many days and enjoyed the lavish things. now as their son left the house, they are worried of continuing with lavish life and have contacted police on advice from communals. Articles referred ie Quran etc are placed by these communals only to divert attention of police from reality. Police should interrogate the parents and bring out the reasl thing as we need to know the real culprits who are tryng to mislead the issue for their political benefit.

    If any person changes his faith for luxury items then why not give such person a counter offer by Pseudo-nationalists? Faith is beyond the luxuries of world and its a personal matter.
