Mangaluru, Sep 23: Presidency CBSE School and PU College Kelarai, Mangaluru inaugurated the residential unit and conducted an orientation program for students of I PU on September 20, 2021 at 9.00 am at the Presidency Campus, Mangaluru.
The vice-chancellor of Mangalore University professor Subramanya Yadapadittaya was the chief guest. The chancellor of Presidency University Dr Nissar Ahmed presided over the ceremony. Shaila Saldanha, principal, Arun Devraj, Prathibha admin head and Javed Lathif, management representative were present during ceremonial inauguration.
The Presidency Schools, Bengaluru and Mangaluru, are a chain of schools that are part of the prestigious Presidency Group of Institutions which was established in the year 1976. Presidency Group of Institutions(PGI), along with the university, constitutes eight schools and two colleges. The Presidency School, Mangaluru caters to Pre KG to Grade 12, PUC Science and Commerce. Students are given training on JEE Main, NEET, CET and also CA foundation.
The program was inaugurated with a lighting of lamp by the dignitaries. The chief guest addressed the young minds motivating them to acquire knowledge for character development and being a responsible citizen. The programme was a grand success.
