Byndoor, Sep 22: Udupi district Congress and Byndoor Youth Congress staged protests in front of Byndoor tahsildar’s office against the BJP lead governments at the centre and the state. They set fire to wood on the cooking gas cylinder specially prepared for the protests and prepared tea opposing the anti-people policies of the governments that are increasing the prices of LPG, petrol, diesel and other essential commodities. An appeal was submitted to the deputy commissioner through the tahsildar after the protests.
Former MLA Gopala Poojary spoke condemning the anti people policies of BJP government at the centre and warned the government of protests till it is removed.
District Youth Congress president Deepak Kotian said that there is power failure in their district of the district in charge minister. “The government which came to power on the basis of Hindutva is quiet about the demolition of the Hindu temple,” he said.

Umesh Devadiga, Govinda Poojary Hoskote, Manikanta Byndoor, Shabir, Manjunath Taggarse, block youth congress chief secretary Harish Maravante, Udaya Poojary, Prakash Acharya, Girish Devadiga, Vinod Padukone, Santhosh Hoskote, Rama Kergal and other youth congress activists were present.
