Especially after Covid, the entire small and medium sector of the industry including handlooms and handicrafts, has almost shut down. Clothes, sarees, mats, pots and other such objects of beauty and utility are lying unsold in godowns. The government has helped these people very little and the little has hardly reached the people.
“Pavitra Vastra Abhiyaan gives a call to the consumer to help the village economy by purchasing their products. It appeals to consumers to buy handmade products instead of imported materials consisting of plastics and poison.
Men's and women's wear, bags, jute products, home remedies, homemade edible products, books etc are included in the exhibition.
Painting workshop is also conducted at the programme.
