Mangalore, Oct 9: St. Aloysius College (Autonomous) and Pathways Cell in association with CSCS, Bangalore and Ford Foundation organized a daylong seminar on Social justice in higher education at the college auditorium here on Saturday October 9.
Chief guest at the programme, Dr P L Dharma asked teachers to visualize India in another 20 years so that an idea can be drafted to ensure that social justice is achieved. He lamented that the reason for social injustice being prevalent in the society is negligent approach towards the human component. He said social justice is a revolution and every individual needs to realize it by sacrificing ego.
Fr Swebert D’Silva, principal, St Aloysius College presided. George Rodrigues compered the programme. Ronald Pinto, vice-principal and Fr Stany D’Souza, staff co-ordinator among others were present.
