Mangaluru: Victorians celebrate Teachers' day at Ladyhill Victoria PU college

Mangaluru, Sep 3: “Great students make great teachers" as goes the saying the Students' Council with the assistance of students of II PUC organised the Teachers' day celebration on Friday September 3 keeping in mind the Covid protocol. The teaching faculty witnessed the formal programme depicting the significance of the occasion.

The Principal and the lecturers were exalted with words of appreciation by the students for their dedication and hard work.

 

The programme began with an invocation followed by an affectionate welcome from Zainaba. Samanvitha welcomed the guests through a splendid performance to the soulful music on the importance of a Guru. The humorous skit on a teacher-student bond and also the chorus touched the hearts of the teachers. The freestyle dance performance was also energetic and sparkled Victorian vibes in them.

The faculty were also felicitated with gifts as a token of love. Seema Sheikh, represented the teaching faculty to acknowledge the love and express gratitude to the students for their enthusiasm.

Fathima Farhana proposed the vote of thanks. The ceremony was hosted by Ashwini, the college president and Aysha Faiza, the College Vice President.
