Onam is a harvest festival celebrating the reward of nature after a year of hard work by the farmers. The beauty of the festival lies in its secular outlook. People of all religions, castes, and communities celebrate the festival with equal joy and verve.
The pandemic has changed the very nature of Onam celebrations, but it has not lowered the spirit of the annual harvest festival.
