Mangaluru, Aug 21: Parenting even in normal times is no easy task and today in these troubled pandemic times it becomes even more challenging, stressful and difficult, making tremendous demands on parental love, patience, understanding and sensitivity which are often difficult to meet.

St Agnes Pre-University College conducts informative sessions and competitions throughout the year in order have connectivity with parents and students. During orientation programme held recently to all the parents of newly admitted first PU students.

Amidst trying situation and having to deal with children engulfed by ‘Covid fatigue’ Sr Norine DSouza, the principal of the college stimulated the parents to find meaning in the very letters that go to spell the word P-A-N-D-E-M-I-C, each letter standing for an attribute or an attitude that parents need to possess today. The parents wholeheartedly participated in the orientation session and clarified their queries.
