Mangaluru, Aug 13: Srinivas University Campuses of Mukka and Mangalore witnessed consistent number of companies visiting for the 2021 batch despite the challenges faced by the corona pandemic. The Integrated Placement and Training Departments of each Srinivas University Colleges ensured that covid lockdown or curfew would not calm the hiring and recruitment prospects of our university students. The university extended precise training and remote infrastructure to meet the skilling needs of job seeking students even at their homes. Despite the absence of students within the campus premises, extensive efforts were made to connect the graduating students to the prospective recruiters.
Placement Process 2021 was an excellent success across courses with over 180 plus Companies visiting the Campus majorly through online mode with 300 above offers with the highest pay package of Rs 17 LPA (lac/annum). The highest numbers were picked by Silver Peak Global Japan, Lumax Auto,Marriott Fairfield Properties, Yespeal Technologies, Pentagon Space, Chegg Inc, Pin Click Advisors, and Dev App Systems.
The final selection salaries offered by recruiters ranged from 3.5 LPA to 17 LPA. Along with Final Placements, International internship placements too at Abhitech Electrical Trading Dubai UAE ensured, some organizations also provided decent stipends during pandemic challenges. This was a welcome change during the lockdown, as our 100 percent internships ensured students earned while they learn remotely and minimal delay in on-the-job training and easy joining work after graduation.
Srinivas University facilitated strong Academic and Placement Training during the lockdown to the students from 1st to final year helping them crack all online, campus based physical and virtual interviews. In order to make the students Company ready, university focuses on in-depth robust aptitude training right from the second year, covering elements like psychometry, pseudocode, gaming, quantitative aptitude, reasoning and verbal ability. The industry internship based academic degree program also resulted in industry training culmination and placement in final semesters.
