Mangaluru, Jul 31: Father Muller Hospital Thumbay held a programme to hand over NABH certificate. The programme began with a short prayer service conducted by Sonal and team.
The welcome address was delivered by Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo where he mentioned that NABH certification is recognition by the Quality Council of India for the quality care and patient safety.
On this auspicious occasion, Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, bishop of Mangalore diocese and president of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, director FMCI, Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo, the administrator of FMHT, Dr Kiran Shetty MS, FMHT were dignitaries on the dais. Dr Kiran Shetty gave introduction about the journey of NABH process.
Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo, the administrator of FMHT, Dr Kiran Shetty MS, FMHT handed over the certificate to Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, bishop of mangalore diocese and president of Father Muller Charitable Institutions, Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, director FMCI.
All the administrators, chief of research, dean, all committee chairpersons, facility manager, asst. Quality manager, nursing supervisor and quality assistant were honored with a memento.
Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, bishop of Mangalore diocese appreciated the hard work of Father Muller Hospital Thumbay staff behind the success of achievement of receiving entry level NABH Accreditation. He also mentioned about the work done during COVID pandemic and regarding initiating vaccination drive for the rural population of Bantwal. He concluded by thanking director, all administrators, chief of research and dean of FMCI for the continued work.
Muller @ Thumbay Annual Magazine of FMHT was released by Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, bishop of Mangalore diocese and dignitaries on the dais.
The chief guest Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, director of FMCI, began by congratulating the entire team of FMHT for achieving the entry level NABH Accreditation. He gave a brief introduction regarding the need for NABH and Quality care to the patients. He concluded by thanking Administrators, MS, all committee chairpersons and members, doctors, nursing staff, paramedics and supportive staff and especially the house keeping staff who has have one step further in attending all the training programmes and following all the necessary protocols and achieving the success.
Fr Rudolf Ravi D’Sa, administrator of Father Muller Medical College Hospital, Fr Roshan Crasta administrator of Father Muller Homeopathy Medical College, Hospital, Fr Ajith Menezes, administrator of Father Muller Medical College, Fr Valerian Dsouza, parish priest and dean of Modankap Church, Fr John Vas, chaplain of FMHT, Dr Sanjeeva Rai, chief of research and person who initially guided during NABH accreditation, Dr J P Alva, dean of Father Muller Medical College, Dr Uday Kumar MS, FMMCH, Dr PrabhuKiran- principal of FMHMC, Dr Wilma D’Souza, vice prinipal, FMHMC, were present for the programme.
The programme anchored by Dr Deekshith Shetty, senior resident department of ENT and vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Sarita Lobo, associate professor, department of ophthalmology.
