Bengaluru, Jun 19: BJP Karnataka state in-charge, Arun Singh, is angry at BJP legislator Arvind Bellad as he has been carrying out campaign against chief minister B S Yediyurappa, relentlessly and also had visited Delhi in this connection. He also pooled the support of some legislators and publicly accused the government of tapping his phone.
It is said that because of this grudge, Arun Singh did not allow Bellad to meet him and refused to meet him. But after getting suggestion from party leaders that refusal to meet some of the legislators might convey a wrong message, Arun Singh relented and allowed Bellad to meet him, it is learnt.
Singh directly questioned Bellad about the statements being issued by him in the media and angrily told him not to continue with this activity. It is said that later, he advised Bellad to discuss his problems in the party forum and not to issue any public statements against the party leadership.
