Mangaluru, May 25: Many nations have been helping India by supplying oxygen, equipment and other medical aids etc supporting the country in its fight against the ravaging Covid pandemic.
The New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) on Tuesday May 25, handled one more navy vessel ‘INS SHARDUL' carrying 11 liquid oxygen tankers, two semi-trailers with liquid oxygen, and 1,200 oxygen cylinders. The equipment was sent by Indian Community Support Group, Kuwait.
Indian Red Cross Society, Dakshina Kannada chairman Shantharam Shett, honorary secretary Prabhakar Sharma and Indian Red Cross Society Karnataka state management committee member Yathish Baikampady received the Consignment. ADGP Prathap Reddy, deputy commissioner Dr Rajendra K V, commissioner of police N Shashi Kumar, DCP Hariram Shanker, ACP Mahesh Kumar and Coast Guard commander Venkatesh were present.
