London, Jul 3: India's Leander Paes and his mixed doubles partner Zimbabwean Cara Black advanced to the final of the Wimbledon by defeating the Czech combo of Lukas Dlouhy and Iveta Benesova 6-3, 6-3 on Friday.
Second seed Paes and Black now play winner of the other semifinal clash in which South African-American pair of Wesley Moodie and Lisa Raymond will take on Brazilian-Australian pair of Marcelo Melo and Rennae Stubbs.
The Indo-Zimbabwean pair on Friday put up spirited display from the beginning of the final-four match as the ninth seed Dlouhy-Benesova failed to match them.
After pocketing the first game, Paes and Black continued to dominate the proceedings and clinched the next game with an identical 6-3 scoreline.
Paes and Black had beaten Australian-Taiwanese pair of Paul Hanley and Chan Yung-Jan in the quarterfinal on Thursday.
