Nasik, Jun 30: “Sri Vishweshateerta Swami of Pejavar Mutt, Udupi, will inaugurate the newly-constructed buildings of Vaikuntadam and Socio Cultural Complex, which will serve as the city branch of Pejavar Mutt at Panchavati on Friday July 4 at 12.00 pm”, said Ramdas Upadyaya, head, Pejavar Mutt - Mumbai branch.

“Both the buildings constructed by Pejavar Mutt have been supervised by Sitaram Pratistan, Panchavati, and will be offered to the service of society on Friday by Pejavar Swami Vishweshateerta”, he said.

“A new branch of Pejavar Mutt has been established here with the objective of serving the south Indians, especially Tulu–Kannadigas’ settled across the town and this was the aspiration of Swami Vishweshateerta.  It will enable a wide section of devotees to offer worship in the traditional form that is practiced in South India.  It has been located on the banks of the Godavari River in Panchavati, adjacent to other temples.  All Vedic rituals can be performed here”, he added.
 
“Vaikuntadam and Socio Cultural Complex has 3,300 sq ft of carpet area. The basement floor of the cultural complex has Rama, Sita, Laxman, and Anjaneya Mandir as well as residential quarters for the temple priest.  The first floor has four VIP rooms and a Sanskrit classroom. The second floor has a special auditorium for organizing weddings and cultural programmes.  Vaikuntadam located beside the Socio Cultural Complex has an auditorium and guest house for pilgrims”, said Hari Bhat, branch manager, Pejavar Mutt, Mumbai.
 
“Swami Vishweshateerta had laid the foundation stone for both buildings in May 2007 in the presence of dignitaries and veteran community leaders of the city. The buildings have been planned by renowned Vastu consultants Ashish Ranadive and Suruchi Ranadive.  All the facilities to perform Vedic rituals, auditorium, and residential rooms are located within the building”, said Mutt administrator Niranjan.
 
“Outstation pilgrims arriving by automobiles and passenger buses will be provided security and parking facilities.  The lifts are erected in the guest house for the comfort of elderly pilgrims.  Pure vegetarian food and snacks are also available to the pilgrims with special emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene”, said Prakash Acharya Ramakunja of Mumbai branch.
