Mangaluru, Feb 17: St Ann’s Teacher Training Institute, here, bid a loving farewell to Cyril M Ferrao, non-teaching staff of the institution.
The management, staff and students of the institution recalled with gratitude all the services, fond memories of Cyril and felicitated him with a short programme here at the institution.
Cyril who hails from Kasargod, joined St Ann’s TTI on July 2, 1998 and served the institution with much dedication and love. Thousands of teacher trainees and staff members witnessed his commendable services for the past long 22 years. Being a simple and hardworking person by nature, he never felt tired of working for the institution for he considered the institution as his second home. The institution places on record his dedicated service.
Sr Marie Lucy AC, the joint secretary of the institution, Sr M Shubha AC, the education secretary of Apostolic Carmel Educational Society, Dr Sr Lydia Fernandes AC, the former principal of St Ann’s College of Education, Sr Nirmala Francis the former principal of the college, Sr Pramila AC the present principal, staff and students were present for the programme.
Sudha welcomed the gathering as Urmila and Nishmitha compered the programme and Jyothi proposed the vote of thanks. Metilda Ferrao, the wife of Cyril and his children Melwita Smitha Ferrao and Simson Joy Ferrao witnessed the programme.
