Vijayapura, Feb 7: Seer of Pejawar Math Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji stated that it is not clear whether those protesting against farm laws in Delhi are actual farmers or not.
Swamiji had come to the city in order to partake in the Maha Abhiyan of fundraising for the construction of Ram Mandir, that was organized in the city, on behalf of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra
"I have observed the protest that is going on in Delhi. When observing acts like stepping on the Indian national flag, burning of the flag, lowering of the national flag that was flown at Red Fort, tearing off of the copy of the Constitution, raising pro-Khalistan slogans, it seems that the protest has lost its direction," he said.
"The stand taken by the union government, in this respect is correct. The union government is inviting the farmers for talks again and again. It is not right on the part of the farmers to continue the protest without clear cut knowledge about the laws," the Pejawar seer said.
"The Ram Mandir that is going to be built in Ayodhya will be a splendid structure. It should flow as the emblem of the dedication of Indian Hindu culture. All activists are working in that direction," he added.
"All those who follow Sanatana Dharma, Hindus and lovers of Lord Ram are generously contributing for this noble cause. This money will be offered to the mandir. Wherever it is possible for us to visit, we are visiting and collecting funds," Swamiji said.
"Lord Ram was a virtuous man. His virtues should be taught to children. In Ramayana, two personalities are model to society. If Ram showed how one should live life, Ravana is an example of how one should not live life. It is very important to choose between the two," he said.
