Mangaluru, Feb 4: The death of a youth whose body was found at Kotepura seashore with injuries on the head has been ruled as a murder. A case in this regard has been registered at Ullal police station on the basis of a complaint lodged by the brother of the deceased. The police are now on the lookout for the person who was with the youth before he died.
The deceased has been identified as Thithesh Poojary (28), son of Talapady Santya Marujaga Narayana Bhandary. Thithesh's body was found at Kotepura seashore on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 3. The injuries on the head of the deceased had caused the police to register a case on the grounds of suspicion.

Nithyananda Bhandary, the brother of the deceased had arrived at the police station upon receiving information regarding the death of his brother. He further told the police that someone who Thitesh knew is likely to be the one who murdered him. Listening to Nithyananda's statement Ullal police registered a case respectively. As per the police, a person named Ramesh, who was Thitesh's companion, is reportedly missing. Police have expressed the possibility of Ramesh being the murderer and have already launched a search for him.
Thitesh was also said to have been booked in connection with the riots in Talapady salon. A warrant for his arrest was also issued. Due to which, Thitesh continued to reside in Ullal and avoided going to his residence in Talapady. He even refrained from contacting his family. It is said that Thitesh was married.
